February 3rd 2010 - Half term closure of Kingsbury Pool
Pool will be closed Sunday 14th February to Sunday 21st February. Last session before closure will be Saturday13th February and first session after closure will be Monday 22nd February.

 

 

January 19h 2010 - Rotherham Metro Open Meet
Well done to all swimmers that took part this weekend, lots of new PBs set and a good medal haul for our ‘small’ club.

January 4th 2010 - Training Session on the 16th January
The 08:00 - 10:00 session on Saturday 16th January 2010 at Kingsbury has been cancelled for that week only

 

 

December 14th 2009 - Last training session will be held on Wednesday 23rd December and the first session back will be on Sunday 3rd January 2010.

 

Session on Sunday 20th December at Chelmsley Pool will be a 'fun session' followed by a party. All swimmers attending party will need to bring a donation of food.

 

 

December 14th 2009 - Warwick 'Open Meet' and Boldmere Junior Invitation Meet forms with monies are required to be handed in by the last Sunday's training session (ie 20th December 2009)

Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club is the only North Warwickshire club to provide competitive swimming squads for all age and ability swimmers in the area.

Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club has a development programme for young swimmers wishing to swim once a week, a comprehensive squad programme for all ages and abilities through to National level and a fitness programme for adults wishing to swim to keep fit.

 

 

 

Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club launches its own online shop, so that everyone can order KA merchandise from the comfort of their own home.

 

All you have to do is enter the shop, raise an order and your merchandise will be brought to the swimming pool for collection. Pay for the merchandise at the pool (no online payment required) and its yours. Its that simple!!!!!!!

Kingsbury Aquarius swimmer, Will Smart received £200 from Staffordshire County Council. He is currently second fastest in Great Britain for 50m freestyle and will be taking part in the National Age Group Championships. William received the money from the authority during a recent ceremony where Cllr Terry Dix said: "I am very pleased to be able to recognise and support William's talent. While we encourage every young person to participate in sport as part of a healthy lifestyle, it is a real privilege to be able to support our elite competitors. I hope very much to see him compete in London in four years' time." Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming club are very proud of William's achievement and have every faith in his ability. Well Done!
